Lincoln County Hospital is a 14 bed, critical access hospital with two rural health clinics; one in Lincoln and one in Sylvan Grove. The medical staff currently consists of two full-time physicians, and three mid-level practitioners. A recent renovation project included: a new pharmacy, laboratory, two new emergency room bays, an ambulance bay, a new nurses station, the addition of three new patient rooms, expansion of all therapy departments, as well as, updates to the lobby, and the existing patient rooms. Physicians have in-house access to a 16-slice CT scanner, ultrasound, comprehensive lab services, and physical, speech, and occupational therapy. There are also weekly MRI services and monthly Nuclear Medicine services available. Digital mammography and bone density scans are also available.

Lincoln County Hospital recently completed a six million-dollar remodeling project. The Hospital secured financing to initiate this exciting project through Public Building Commission Revenue Bonds. The project was completed in three phases to allow the Hospital to remain open during this period of time.

Phase I
Phase one included the addition of two new emergency rooms, an ambulance bay and a very modern nursing station. Patient rooms were completely renovated, providing each room with very modern services.

Phase II
Phase two included the complete update of our Laboratory, Pharmacy, Administrative and Business Office area. Also included was a complete remodeling of our lobby and the completion of three additional patient rooms.

Phase III
The third phase included the modernization of the Radiology Department. This phase also expanded all Therapy Departments. In addition, a brand new area was created for a new CT scanner. Also included during renovation, was a new parking area and a drive-thru covered front entrance area.

Loan Repayment and Tax Incentives:

Lincoln is located in the heartland of Kansas, 45 miles northwest of Salina and about 100 miles north of Wichita. Lincoln is situated on rolling hills overlooking the Saline River, thick with massive cottonwood trees. The Saline River has cut a wide and beautiful valley across Lincoln County to create a scenic landscape, and rich farmlands.

Lincoln County is famous for its limestone quarries, which historically have been used for homes, buildings, bridges, and fence posts throughout the area. The historic "post rock" buildings in downtown are absolutely beautiful, including the County Courthouse which was built in 1900 and is on the National and Kansas Register for Historic Places. Lincoln offers many outdoor activities including; hunting, fishing, and water sports, as it is located only 25 miles from beautiful Lake Wilson.
