The current medical staff consists of four Family Medicine physicians, two Physician Assistants, two Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and one General Surgeon. Rice County District Hospital is a recently remodeled facility that has state of the art diagnostic equipment and technology. It provides many services, including 24-hour emergency care, acute and intermediate care services, a family birthing center, a skilled nursing swing-bed program, a modern diagnostic laboratory, diagnostic imaging services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory care, dietary consultation, diabetic education and cardiac rehabilitation.
