Clay County Medical Center is a cutting-edge facility with a comprehensive and community-based outlook
on health care. We have state–of-the-art diagnostic services which include an in-house MRI, Nuclear Med,
CT, and digital mammography. Community support through the Clay County Hospital Foundation has made
expansion possible.

We are especially proud of our Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit and Therapy
capabilities where we have full time staff dedicated to Respiratory,
Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies.

year. The city band plays Wednesdays at 8:00 pm, June-July. One of our physicians, Tim Penner,

plays with the band. Dexter Park hosts the band shell, surrounded by picnic areas and our new

Safari playground made possible by donations from our generous community. Clay County

Medical Center has state of the art birthing facilities and is an integral part of this eclectic,

inclusive community. The Medical Staff and employees at the hospital participate in the Piotique

Clay Center , population 4,334 is located on the
western edge of the scenic Flint Hills. The area is
a prime location for hunting, fishing, and boating.
The state's two largest lakes, Tuttle Creek and
Milford, are both within 30 miles of Clay Center.
Abilene, Kansas, home of President Dwight
Eisenhower is 30 miles to the south on Interstate
70.

Clay Center is proud of their zoo and park.
Children can toss in a line and experience the joy
